When is the best time for a maternity session? +
Usually between 28 and 34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully round but you're still comfortable on your feet. If you're expecting twins or more, we'd suggest a little earlier.
What should I wear? +
We have a collection of flowing gowns and fabrics in studio for you to use, designed to flatter a bump. We'll talk through options beforehand, and you're welcome to bring your own pieces too.
Can my partner and children be involved? +
Of course. Some of the most moving images are the ones with a partner's hands on the bump, or a big sibling listening for the baby. Family is included at no extra cost.
How long does the session take? +
Around an hour. We keep things calm and unhurried, with somewhere to sit and a warm drink whenever you need a break.
Can we combine maternity and newborn? +
Yes, and many do. Our Bump to Baby bundle pairs your maternity session with a newborn session at a reduced rate, so the whole story is captured.
I feel self-conscious. Is that normal? +
Completely normal, and you won't be the first. Meagan is gentle and reassuring, and guides every pose so you never have to wonder what to do. Most people are amazed at how relaxed it feels.
